Platform records + self-custody

Robinhood Altcoin Folio Reconciliation

Combine brokerage-style records and public-chain wallet history without double counting transfers or inventing missing cost data. AltcoinFolio.com is not affiliated with Robinhood.

Preserve both sources

Keep platform statements and wallet transactions as separate source records. Normalize timestamps, assets, and event types, then link corresponding withdrawal and deposit legs through a transfer group. Do not delete one side simply because both describe the same movement.

Verify destination network and address. A platform symbol may not provide the same contract detail as a wallet, so preserve the platform label and the verified onchain identifier.

Match quantity before value

Use transaction identifiers, asset, network, quantity, address, and time window. Record platform and network fees separately. Approximate dollar value is weak matching evidence because prices can move between withdrawal request and confirmation.

Keep unmatched records in a review queue with a confidence level. Never create a balancing trade merely to make a dashboard agree.

Carry acquisition history forward

An internal transfer does not create a new acquisition. Preserve source lots and missing-basis flags according to the user's accounting process. Keep original files unchanged and record versioned adjustments with supporting evidence.
