Base Altcoin Folio
Keep Base and Ethereum connected but distinct. Track chain ID, address, token contract, bridge route, application position, and native ETH availability.
Compatibility is not sameness
The same wallet address can appear on Base and Ethereum while holding separate balances. Use chain ID plus address as the account key. Group both under an owner and custody dependency only after each network reconciles independently.
Identify tokens by Base contract address and verification status. Aggregate related exposure in reports without replacing the original chain-specific records.
Link both sides of every bridge
Store the source transaction, destination event, route, asset representation, quantities, fees, and status. Classify ownership-preserving movements as transfers and keep in-transit value visible while the destination is pending.
Different bridge routes and token representations carry different dependencies. A Base folio should report those dependencies rather than treating every bridged symbol as identical.
Track fees, approvals, and applications
Record Base ETH fees for successful and failed interactions. Expand supported lending, liquidity, or vault positions into gross assets and liabilities. Maintain a read-only approval inventory so contract permissions can be reviewed without giving the folio signing authority.
